As of last week, I’ve been plagued with curiosity. One day, when I was leaving class, I spotted this distinct Justice League placard over a doorway across the street.
So I went over to ask the security guards stationed out front, “What… is going on here?” It’s not every day that Justice League sets up shop near your school. They told me that it would be open to the public in a few days and that I should check back later.
Earlier this week, I’m sitting in my Shakespeare class and Megan stumbles across a blurb about the Justice League Experience in Time Out London. Bingo. Everything clicks.
The experience was dreamed up ahead of the new “Justice League” film, which hits cinemas next Friday.
Excited to see what it will bring, Megan and I co-ordinate schedules and decide to pay a visit on Friday.
Prior to going, I read the description and watched a video. I still couldn’t quite tell you what the experience was going to be like. Turns out Megan and I rolled up to the highlight of my semester this afternoon.

When you walk in, visitors get a wristband and the run-down. There are five rooms dedicated to the five currently canon (there’s been some line-up changes, but that’s neither here nor there) members of Justice League: Wonder Woman, Batman, Cyborg, the Flash and Aquaman.
Each environment is a key place for its respective superhero. There was also a Superman “Easter egg” to look out for in Batman’s, Cyborg’s, the Flash’s and Aquaman’s rooms.
Worth noting is that all of the costumes were worn by the actors. Likewise, a good deal of the props also came straight from the set.
Diana Prince’s office
While Gal Gadot has kept a tight lip on what Wonder Woman has been up to, I get the sense she’s taken up art restoration to keep a low profile.
There’s a scene in the third Justice League trailer where she gets asked, “What did you do this weekend, Diana?”
To that, she coyly replies “Me? Hm! Nothing very interesting.”

The Batcave
There have been many incarnations of Bruce Wayne’s clandestine barrack. And while shrouded in much myth and mystery, everyone knows the importance of housing Batman’s gadgets and Batmobile.
We didn’t see the whip, but we did get a peek of Batman’s Batarangs.
Megan spotted Clark Kent’s glasses hidden among Wayne’s weapons.
S.T.A.R. Labs, Cyborg’s depot
The way the story goes, the parts of Cyborg that make him a cyborg are maintained at S.T.A.R. Labs.
One of the hosts working the experience pointed out some damage inflicted on one of the drawers.
Apparently, it was done on the set of “Justice League.” I don’t say this often enough, but I’m looking forward to seeing who got slammed into this file cabinet.

Barry’s Basement
Every room was neat, but by far, Megan and I adored the Flash’s crash pad.
Apart from enjoying the DIY aesthetic and soft punk vibes of it, the environment really had a lived-in feel.

It’s quite the close match to the flat we see in the trailer.

Aquaman’s Tavern
Aquaman’s tavern was the best pub I’ve been to in London and I didn’t even drink a drop.
I was really feeling the atmosphere created in this room. All the little details were taken care of to make it feel like an authentic drinking spot in some Icelandic town.

Safe to say: I am pumped about Justice League! I haven’t shut up or stopped cheesing about it the experience since we left some hours ago.
I had already made plans to see “Justice League” with my girlfriend, but, needless to say, I definitely skipped out of the exhibition with an extra bit of pep in my step.
